i found some websites that can help me. but if anybody knows about paper mache or however you spell it, id like the tips

Well, if you know you want to use paper mache, I'd suggest getting a wig form from Sally's Beauty Supply and wrapping it in cling wrap, then layering the newspaper strips on that. Maybe measure around it first to see if it's the same size as your head.
If you want a sleeker, less clunky look, I'd suggest using a thermoplastic like Wonderflex - more expensive, though.
